Pyjama Day
Had a terrible night last night - L wouldn’t settle and was waking frequently and chewing on me, though he finally went off OK after some teething powders. M woke every hour and was running a temperature and finding it hard to sleep. About 4am he got up thinking he was going to be sick so I got up with him. He went back to bed and I was just dropping back to sleep when he dashed for the loo and threw up. He came into bed with me and L after and left A to sleep in M’s room because he’d been kept awake on and off up until then with M tossing and turning. M kept talking to me but I drifted off after a while, only to be woken with a request for a drink of water at just gone 5am and then disturbed again at 6am when L woke up. We’ve all been a bit out of it today!
M has watched videos, played on the computer and listened to story CDs in bed while playing with his Lego. He’s much better this evening and had a little bit of tea, though his temperature is starting to go up again. L has played and napped and fiddled with things as babies do. I’ve spent lots of time on the computer, hung the washing out and made it rain and boiled up the courgette relish I started yesterday. We had some with tea and it was really tasty which is just as well seeing as we have about 3 jam jars worth of it.
After tea I bathed the boys and they had loads of fun playing in the bath. They each had a squirty toy and were firing water at each other (most of it did stay in the bath thankfully).
